Mac Support Services
Net Friends has extensive experience supporting Macs in the home, in small
companies, and in large, PC-dominated enterprises. We have several dedicated
Mac support specialists, some of whom have over 15 years of Mac
problem-solving expertise. We're a member of the Apple Consultants Network,
and our staff certifications include the ACTC and ACHDS. We have hundreds of
clients and manage thousands of computers from Burlington to Raleigh.
Our rates are the best in the Triangle. We don't charge extra fees based on
the number of workstations or employees or any of that. The cost is based on
our time involved with your case, period.
We understand that spending an hour or two on the phone trying to solve a
problem is not how you like to spend your time. When you call us, you can be
assured that the person most qualified to assist you will usually be at your
door within 24 hours, and often the same day. We will happily arrange to visit on nights, weekends, and holidays. If you have a critical problem that's paralyzing your business, we will give it the highest priority. For frequent customers, we provide the option of remote support, which saves you money and allows us to access your computers from our office to solve your problem, sometimes only minutes after you've called it in!
We also understand that customers want the Mac support technician who knocks
on their door to provide hands-on support and repair services, recommend
reliable and cost-effective solutions for difficult business requirements,
and forestall future problems by taking creative, preventive action - all
while not talking down to you or needlessly obfuscating important details.
These people do exist, and they work for us!
Our staff makes it a priority to stay up-to-date on all the latest software
releases and industry news. Many of us own Macs at home, and we try to
become familiar with all of Apple's hardware and software soon after it goes
on sale. We have a close relationship with the Apple Store, but we also
maintain an impartial perspective. If an Apple software or hardware solution
isn't going to work for your specific problem, we'll tell you (and help you
find one that will).
We can help you with:
- making Apple and non-Apple products live together harmoniously
- wireless networking
- mysterious crashes and freezes
- securing your Mac and your network
- traveling with your Mac
- prolonging the life and usefulness of your Mac
- many third-party Mac programs such as Office, Photoshop, InDesign, Lotus Notes, Dreamweaver, Quark, and even specialized scientific applications
- buying your first Mac server or upgrading your current server
- developing a coherent IT strategy so your company's Macs become an asset instead of a headache
- planning for and coping with disasters (everything from "I deleted the wrong file" to "My house burned down and the Mac is a puddle of plastic goo")
- editing audio and video on a budget
- printers, scanners, and other peripherals
- high-end Apple hardware and software such as Xserve, Xserve RAID, OS X Server, and Apple Remote Desktop
- low-end legacy products such as OS 8 & 9 and the "beige box" Macs
- anything else you can possibly think of
If you have a Mac problem, give us a call any time. Our friendly experts will be happy to listen to your questions and tell you how we can help.
