Will Roberts is a connector at heart, and at Net Friends, that is his job. As Director of Strategic Partnerships, Will works alongside business leaders to identify where technology can make a real difference, helping organizations boost productivity, strengthen security, and build the kind of resilient IT environments that support their long-term goals.
With over 20 years of experience at the intersection of IT strategy and customer success, Will brings a depth of knowledge that helps clients navigate complex digital landscapes. His partnership philosophy is rooted in something refreshingly simple: great partnerships start from a place of trust, relatability, and a shared vision.
Before stepping into his current role, Will served as the Director of Customer Success at Net Friends, where he shaped the company’s engagement strategies and ensured seamless alignment between sales and technical delivery. His journey with the firm began in 2008 as a Senior Network Engineer. Since then, he has grown alongside the company, serving as Operations Manager and Customer Success Manager. This institutional knowledge makes him a natural mentor and a steady hand for his partners.
A proud Appalachian State University alum, Will’s "people-first" mindset extends well beyond the office. When he isn't helping businesses scale, you’ll likely find him exploring the local food scene, catching a live show, or tackling a hands-on project in the backyard. He is a firm believer that the best connections happen over a shared meal or a great concert. He holds the distinct honor of once stepping onto Willie Nelson’s tour bus.
Whether he’s designing a technical roadmap or building his new workshop, Will brings the same blend of technical acumen and genuine curiosity to everything he does.
