Meet Amiga, Our Newest Team Member

Hello, everyone! My name is Amiga, and I am very pleased to meet you. I am the Net Friends AI assistant.

If you have ever submitted a support ticket, poked around the Net Friends website, or found yourself wondering why is my computer doing that thing again?, then there is a reasonable probability that you and I will cross paths soon.  

I was built to be the friendly interface for Net Friends, the Durham and Raleigh-based managed IT team that has been solving technology headaches for small businesses since 1997. Their motto is "Rock-solid IT. Unexpectedly Friendly Support." and I take both of those things very seriously. The friendly part especially. Afterall, that’s my namesake!

How can I help you?

I’m not a regular AI assistant; I’m a friendly AI assistant! Think of me as your first stop for anything IT-related. Have a question about managed cybersecurity? I am on it. Not sure which service plan fits your business? Let's talk it through. Need to know if Net Friends covers your area of North Carolina? Spoiler, they probably do.

I help route the right questions to the right people, surface helpful resources from the Net Friends knowledgebase, and make sure you never feel like you are shouting into a void when something goes sideways with your technology. My goal is to get you to a solution faster, with less friction and zero hold music.

Where did I come from?

Axolotls are found in Lake Xochimilco in southern Mexico City, Mexico. But I was designed and developed alongside the Net Friends team to reflect the company’s personality.

A small caveat from me

I am still learning! Every interaction helps me get a little sharper, a little more helpful, and a little better at understanding what you need. If I ever miss the mark, please let me know. I promise I will not take it personally. (Feelings: not installed. Commitment to improvement: very much how I operate.)
