A Letter from Net Friends’ President & CEO:
Over 23 years ago, our founder, David Scarborough, was mulling over the best company name for a truly customer-facing business he was building from scratch. On September 14, 1997, David discovered that netfriends.com and .net were available and immediately knew that this was the perfect company name to encapsulate his vision.
Each year, Net Friends celebrates this date as our anniversary. We use this time to reflect on what we’ve accomplished over the years, working as a team to serve the community that we love. Although we weren’t able to gather in-person this year for our annual company luncheon, we adapted to the times by hosting socially distanced activities with our smaller teams.
Keeping with the festive spirit and our annual tradition, we distributed new Net Friends T-shirts, which feature a unique design each year. We also focused on a “Grow With Us” theme for 2020 and had a seed planting activity to encourage our teams to nurture their Net Friends plants and grow with us as we look forward to another year of growth and maturity as a company.
This opportunity to pause and reflect on the past has reminded us to keep a hopeful outlook that things are poised to improve in the year ahead. We share in the hurt for all the pain that 2020 has brought into our community, but we remain confident in the resiliency of our spirit. Together, we will continue to strive for a better future.

I’m confident that with the strength our community has already shown these past few months, we will continue to face the challenges head on and innovate our way forward. I look forward to celebrating many more anniversaries with you in the years to come!
