What Changes Do You Make To Our Workstations, Servers, Network, and M365 Licenses That are Under Contract?

Net Friends will add software to your devices and manage your M365 portal to update software, monitor for security concerns, and help your staff with issues.

  • Workstations
  • Add software so that we can manually update and remote into devices.
  • We add an Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) software called Cortex to all your workstations. This functions similarly to anti-virus software.  (You can learn more about EDR and anti-virus in our article: Protecting Your SMB: Traditional Antivirus vs. Next-Gen EDR vs. XDR (netfriends.com)
  • If your company has opted to have workstation backups, we will also add software to complete that task.
  • Server/Network
  • Initially, we will install software to gather information for us. It will identify all the servers, workstations, and applications.
  • We will install Cortex on your server.
  • We use software that will scan your network to determine if there are any security threats active on devices in your network, focusing on your servers.
  • Microsoft 365
  • We will ensure we have Granular Delegated Administration Permissions (GDAP) to your M365 tenant so we can administer it on your behalf.
  • We will transfer your licenses to Net Friends so that we can manage them.
